As we plant a seed in the ground, we can’t see the development of the plant as the sun shines on the earth and the rain nurtures the seed, but one day a flower appears. Similarly, we can’t see the development of a child’s ability but we must keep nurturing until the flower unfolds. It is an example of the universal law of cause and effect. Beginning to Advanced Fiddle Sessions
for Suzuki Violin Students
Students ages five through eighteen years old will learn violin/fiddle repertoire, Jazz improvisation, ensemble playing and performance skills.
The workshop is open for Suzuki violin students in late book 1 through advanced levels and will consist of repertoire building, ensemble, and group sessions.
We will work on Fiddle, Broadway, Movie, and Pop repertoire, such as:
- Boil’em Cabbage Down
- Cripple Creek
- Cotton Eyed Joe
- Red Wing
- The Frost Is All Over
- Liza Jane
- Bubble Gum Polka
- The Irish Washerwoman
- Star Wars
- Tomorrow (Annie)
- Fiddler On The Roof
